LANGHE
Dream home
Langhe are an enchanting portion of Italian territory located halfway between the Piedmont Alps and the Ligurian sea. Langhe are a region famous all over the world for the richness of the landscape, traditions and typical products such as Barolo and the truffle from Alba.-
Langhe are a wavy, lively and made fascinating territory by the play of color given by the spontaneous vegetation and crops.
Panorama and gastronomy are the two main attractions of this area and for this reason the Langhe have been included in the "UNESCO World Heritage Site" .-
Moving further south, always half an hour / 45 minutes by car from Alba, the gentle hills cultivated with vineyards leave room for higher hills covered with woods, pastures, meadows, hazel groves and here also ancient medieval villages and castles. These hills are made up of an extraordinary nature, in a world of other times almost intact with wild orchids, expanses of woods interspersed with flowery meadows and incredible breathtaking views. This area is quiet and reserved and the food fresh and genuine.

FOOD AND WINE
OF THE LANGHE
Truffles are the kings of local cuisine, whose character is that of an autumn cuisine. It has strong aromas and intense flavors, which are easily combined with great wines and above all, the truffle is the smell of a season. In Alba it is traditionally eaten raw, sliced with a suitable tool: it is delicious on hot food and light sauces; ideal with fondue, tajarin and risotto; excellent on raw meat and mushroom salads. But gourmets also love it with simply cooked eggs.

THE WINES OF LANGA
Photo
We can't speak of Piedmontese wines without thinking of Nebbiolo, the most noble of the Italian vines, Barolo , DOCG and great internationally recognized red wine, Barbaresco and Langhe , home of Barolo himself and which, together with Roero and Monferrato , have recently been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, that is the set of sites recognized as part of humanity's artistic and environmental heritage. The Langhe have been producing since ancient times, and in addition to Barolo, its productions are famous all over the world. The different production areas are united by the type of cultivation of the vines, which takes place almost exclusively on hilly terrain, and which give grapes suitable especially for red wines suitable for aging, but also for white wines. Langhe isn't only a land of great wines red, and there are other noteworthy productions of white wines such as Langhe DOC Arneis. In fact, it should be remembered that Piedmont is not too far from the sea (in some places it is just 8 km away) and the hilly territory facing south with clay and sand-rich soils can give life, thanks to ventilation and temperature changes between days and night, with white wines rich in perfumes and very fine.

We recommend a visit to a more innovative wine museum in Italy located in the heart of a territory famous for its wines and inside a castle with a thousand-year history in Barolo town.
